Tribal Crime Data Project (TCDP) Consortium
The TCHRIP initiative is a project of the NM Tribal Crime Data Project, which as been in existence for over five years. The TCDP convenes the NM Tribes and Pueblos and State agencies regularly to discuss issues and strategies related to design, development and implementation of integrated justice systems at four levels—intra-tribal, intertribal, and tribal-state and with federal systems.
The TCDP consortium collaborates with state and federal agencies to address crime and juvenile delinquency, violence, and victimization issues of mutual interest specifically to improve public safety and protection in their respective communities and address the overlapping and shared jurisdictional issues that arise.
Participation in the TCDP consortium is open to all the NM Tribes and Pueblos.
